This is the very first in a painting series for the upcoming project Raven Valley. These paintings explore otherworldly locations and characters that may exist in the Raven Valley universe.
This series is also partially an experiment and exploration of using AI generated images as reference for original paintings. The AI images are created and studied to understand how AI is working with the light and form based on text inputs. The images are then translated in hand by Conrad, creating a brand new one of a kind illustration / painting. The Raven Valley project is an ongoing series by Conrad in coordination with a number of other designers and artists.
The Raven Valley Concept Design series original paintings will be sold through this website to raise funds for the project. Your purchase helps Noel Conrad continue to create his original traditional art, as well as expand the Raven Valley universe for everyone!
This painting is 6″ x 8″ pencil, ink, watercolor and gouache on watercolor paper.
